There are only very few releases that are entirely mastered in 4K. You will be hard pressed to spot the difference unless you freeze the frame and pixel peep. Release groups like terminal, iamable, whiterhino encode using CRF17, which is borderline placebo when it comes to quality. When transferring back to 4K, you just end up with a shitty upscale from 2K resolution.
